Sweating Honey and the others

Here's Sweating Honey

"Products of their environment, Sweating Honey tries to play music that accommodates yet balances the mood swings of the emerging generation plagued by the chaos of shit accumulation. In other words we have songs for everyone...

"Sweating Honey has been a 4 time finalist in the Independent Music World Series and has received a smattering of awards including the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner "Readers Choice Award" for Best Local Band and the Anchorage Press "Press Picks" award for Best Live Band."

Now for the rest of the music. The other samples just weren't meant to be. So here are my recommendations, albeit verbal, not audiovisual:

Bac'Untry Bruthers
All Night dRagtime Revue
A dyke band from Fairbanks
Really energetic, highly recommended

Good Dog--Tunes from the Tides
e.g. "Blubber is Beautiful"
Scientifically sound children's songs about the sea

Bearfoot Bluegrass
Any album, they've made it pretty big since winning at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival
Started as a group of camp counselors out of Cordova.

Gangly Moose
Fairbanks Funk/Garage Band
Check them out at http://www.ganglymoose.com/

The Whipsaws

Anchorage based band, check them out on the web
